Vision
Since the beginning of mankind our activities and civilization were based on renewable and inexhaustible solar energy. Sun through agriculture and livestock provided food, namely energy, to people and its vehicles (animals) while through photosynthesis forests were offering to humanity it’s most valuable building material, the wood. Through climate, Sun determined the geographical areas were civilization firstly occurred and where the biggest part of the known world was based.
During 19th and finally 20th century mankind through the extensive use of fossil fuels for extracting energy rather changed the “sweat” balance between man and environment. Man although achieved direct and spectacular growth through them, took no precaution for environment and his future. Fossil fuels that should have been used as a direct subsidy to our civilization for only a limited period of time unfortunately became our main solution for preserving our way of living. Continuing to ignore this limitation mankind in jeopardizes collapsing the closed system “man-environment” at least as we know it in terms of climate and everything that relies on it.
Climate change as a result of the extensive use of fossil fuels has become the number one threat for mankind. In this battle for saving the planet and consequently our lives different people, organizations, institutions and governments have merged on the vehicle of green economy to re-engineer everything we do.
Taking our share of responsibility we do our outmost against climate change through continuously investing in renewable sources and photovoltaics, since this is our only choice for reverting the picture. We envision a world where Sun, through new technologies, will regain its position as the main energy source of our civilization as it always has been. Only this way we can viably preserve our way of living and simultaneously sustainably co-exist with our planet.
Re-engineering our civilization at the “green” way surely comes through renewable sources while their wide diffusion in our society can provide a new sustainable economic growth away from today’s threats of recession and climate change.
Mission
To contribute our best in expanding solar energy technologies in our country, so that we will no more loose “green” kWh at the near future. Climate change although a global problem, through solar energy can find its solution in geographical areas with lots of sunshine such as Greece. Hence, these areas will today compete for the shares of the future in the new rising renewable industry.
